Overall objectives

  • Savoir mener une analyse de capabilité en accord avec les exigences clients (CSR IATF 16949), en utilisant les outils de l’entreprise organisatrice et en accord avec l’ISO 22514.

Learning operational objectives

  • Connaître et mettre en œuvre les modes opératoires pour mener une analyse de capabilité ou de performance (Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk, Cm/Cmk).
  • Savoir obtenir et préparer les données de mesure et déterminer si elles comportent des points aberrants.
  • Comprendre la signification physique des indicateurs Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk, Cm/Cmk.
  • Savoir réaliser le calcul des indicateurs Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk, Cm/Cmk en accord avec les CSR client, en utilisant les outils internes de l’entreprise organisatrice et en connaissant les définitions officielles de ces indicateurs suivant l’ISO 22514.
  • Savoir mener ces études de capabilités dans le cas de données dimensionnelles et aussi dans le cas d’éléments de cotation géométrique.
  • Savoir interpréter les résultats d’une étude de capabilité d’un processus de fabrication.
  • Savoir déterminer les actions à mettre en place sur le process en cas d’indicateurs de capabilité et/ou de performance non conformes aux exigences client.

The "Pluses" of the training session

  • Training adapted "tailor-made" on product applications of the trainees (Case studies used if necessary). Workshops directly realized on these products examples.
  • Training "tailor-made" adapted and focused on internal processes and standard documents of the organizing company (case studies used if necessary).
  • Theoretical parts organized in a dynamic and interactive way (workshops in subgroups, quizzes, questions, etc.).
  • This training includes a 6-months period of post training support (email exchanges, webinars, phone, response time depending on the trainer’s availability).

Organization and resources

  • The attendees must dispose of a laptop computer, connected to the internet, with MS Excel 2007 or more installed.
  • Each attendee receives a training manual in English as well as exercise and workshop files used during the session.
  • For face-to-face training, the room must have a video projector as well as a flipchart and a whiteboard with coloured markers in working order.

Evaluation mode

  • Level assessment quizzes for each attendee at the beginning and the end of the training session.
  • Hot satisfaction questionnaire completed by each attendee at the end of the training.
  • Cold evaluation questionnaire, to evaluate achievements realized after the training completed 3 months after training, by each attendee, with their hierarchy.

Targeted audience

  • Toute personne impliquée dans la réalisation, l’interprétation et l’utilisation d’études de capabilité et/ou de performance dans le contexte de l’entreprise organisatrice.

Prerequisite

  • Participants should have an experience of the products and manufacturing processes of the company organizing the training.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in production, maintenance, method, quality or engineering in industry.

Trainer profile

  • Holds master’s diploma from top tier engineering school (Centrale, INSA, Arts et Métiers, UTC). Equivalent to Master's degree in industrial engineering.
  • 20 years experience in automotive industry in industrial statistics (MSA, SPC, capability studies, design of experiments, tolerancing) and in methodologies of product / process design and engineering (functional analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, CAD).
