Overall objectives
- Maîtriser le paramétrage du module SMD pour concevoir des modèles 3D de pièces de tôlerie pliées, découpées, embouties, roulées, percées, en adéquation avec les moyens de réalisation de tôlerie de l’entreprise organisatrice.
Learning operational objectives
- Maîtriser le processus de conception, dans SMD, de ses propres pièces de tôlerie pliées, découpées, embouties, roulées, percées.
- Valider ses propres conceptions de pièces de tôlerie, notamment en utilisant la gestion des vues pliées / dépliées, la mise en plan et la détection des recouvrements.
- Maîtriser toutes les fonctionnalités avancées du module Catia v5 SMD :
- Transformations.
- Options avancées de balayage, roulage, pliage, découpe, emboutissage.
- Import et export de données (notamment au format DXF).
- Intégration avec Part Design et travail en contexte.
The "Pluses" of the training session
- Formation adaptée « sur mesure » pour l’entreprise organisatrice suivant ses règles de conception, ses contraintes fonctionnelles récurrentes, ses contraintes de fabrication, un cas de conception produit interne de l’entreprise organisatrice sera intégré comme cas d'école.
- Pour assurer implication maximale et acquisition optimale des compétences, cette formation est organisée de manière dynamique et interactive via des exercices et des mises en application.
- This training includes a 6-months period of post training support (email exchanges, webinars, phone, response time depending on the trainer’s availability).
Organization and resources
- Chaque participant doit disposer d’un PC avec le logiciel CATIA V5 installé et prêt à l'emploi : licence disponible, modules spécifiques liés à la formation installés.
- Each attendee receives a training manual in English as well as exercise and workshop files used during the session.
- For face-to-face training, the room must have a video projector as well as a flipchart and a whiteboard with coloured markers in working order.
Evaluation mode
- Level assessment quizzes for each attendee at the beginning and the end of the training session.
- Hot satisfaction questionnaire completed by each attendee at the end of the training.
- Cold evaluation questionnaire, to evaluate achievements realized after the training completed 3 months after training, by each attendee, with their hierarchy.

- Toute personne impliquée dans l’utilisation du module SMD de la solution CATIA V5.
Prerequisite
- Avoir une expérience de l’utilisation de Catia V5.
- To have experience in mechanical design in the context of the company organizing the training.
Trainer profile
- 33 ans d’expérience en conception mécanique et en CAO sur solutions CATIA v5.
- Formateur expérimenté dans la mise en œuvre de solutions CAO au sein de grands groupes industriels français.
